Demands of the Day

Before I dive into the Jesus Calling entry for February 10, check that out. Completely rocking this sleepy eyed girl STILL... this photo was this morning's sunrise. At approx 630ish, I drove away from Panera (YES, beside the Hollywood 27! No I wasnt seeing a movie) w/ a bagel breakfast sandwich & large cup of Hazelnut coffee (my favorite) Then, I was stopped dead in my tracks. How great is our God? The little things like this remind me that he is soOOOoo good and i am sooOOOoo blessed.

Ok, God is a powerful and majestic God but this girl is STILL not a habitual morning person. Did you catch that I was awake before 630? Sheesh. These brown eyes are getting heavy... Gotta hurry and type... Here we go.

"Trust me enough to spend ample time with Me, pushing back the demands of the day. Refuse to feel guilty about something that is so pleasing to Me, the King of the universe. Because I am omnipotetent, I am able to bend time and events in your favor. You will find that you can accomplish more in less time, after you have given yourself to Me in rish communion. Also, as you align yourself with My perspective, you can sort out what is important and what is not.

Don't fall into the trap of being constantly on the go. Many, many things people do in My Name have no value in My kingdom. To avoid doing meaningless works, stay in continual communication with Me. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you."
