Favorite things: #1

The other day, I remembered how much I LOVE making lists of some of my favorite things and  even more... I love reading other peoples' lists!  So,  I thought make a cute-sy button to maybe hold me accountable to blogging about it...
so.. here we go!

1.  Dresses
I dont know what it is but I have dress fever. What am I talking about? I have always had it...  but I love wearing dresses in this weather. Cant wait for it to be consistently this warm...  here are some of my favorites!
ruffles... not Kyles favorite fashion trend. well,
sorry honey... but they aint going anywhere
Very Jackie O. I love that goddess of a woman... wish my wardrobe was JUST LIKE HERS! so classy, elegant, effortless... what a dream
I cant ever deny floral .... ever!

and leopard... I know, it is kinda crazy but I just cant avoid it
love the color combination!

the ruffles, the belt, the casual-ness... perfect.

cute.
2.  How preciously sweet are these "tattered rose" buds?
I found a tutorial here on this blog. I cannot wait to try to make Sadie her own personal headbands and maybe even necklaces for me. If you have any fabric scraps, I'll take them.

3 . I Love this wreath!
bad thing is... made out of crepe paper so it would HAVE To be inside. But I could totally make it with fabric and get to hang it on our front door... I might do this one soon!

4. Next project on the Sadie list... A frame decorated to hold her all of her hair bows!
I will love the look of having a function piece that will make such a statement on the wall.
If she is the granddaughter of Gwen "Bow Making" Barker... She will have hair bows out the wazoo... and for every occasion... "big ones, small ones, some the size of her head" no seriously, she will! see proof below

5.  Mr. Kegley
Of course he is going to make the favorites list! My favorite part about being his girl is that every day, Im even more happy to be with him than the day before. It is just such a blessing! Im so pumped about going to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field this weekend... get ready for a photo packed post on that experience!

Well, after my introduction of a facebook album, I decided I needed a point & shoot in my purse for all those times I want to take a photo but dont have my "first born"camera around.
 '
so, Here it is.... the first self-timered photo.  This was Sunday after church. Cant you tell he is pumped about my new plan to increase photos? ;) Well.. there is the quality a small point and shoot will do for you! It didnt even flash on our faces. Oh well.. Ill take what I can get!

Oh and another thing...  Kyle got a Classic Lawn Mower! How cool is that old-fashioned-ness for ya?... I have never actually seen one of these in real life!

He says it gives an even cut and the control to make "lines" .  I dont know... i say,  it gives me too much arm pain which probably means I need to do it. dang.  I tell you what these arms arent as tone as they used to be...It was SO gorgeous on Sunday afternoon, it was so nice to be outside and kinda break a sweat! Just get me a pool and 90degrees... I'll be set.

I think 5 things should be enough for the first favorites post! enjoy.

Go ahead and grab the button if you want to join in!  Dont forget that I would love to read yours too!! So, leave me a comment so I can jump over there and read your favorite things!

1)I can totally see you in the leopard print dress and you would rock it.

2)Kyle would get one of those mowers. I can't explain why.. he just would ;) (And yes, I know this is going to cause a long discussion/arguement about why I feel that way)

3)love the rosette tutorial.

4)I found a wreath tutorial very similar that I am going to do once I have time. Can't wait!

5)I'm sure you'll see it on my blog, but I did my list of favorites tonight. You should go to linkytools.com so you can add a way for everyone to link to it. Just an idea!!

Have fun this weekend!!
