Whew... We are alive!
I tell you what, there is nothing like the emotions that tag along with a mid day tornado scare...
Middle TN got slammed this afternoon by all kinds of weather craziness, there were 80mph winds, funnel and straight-line! Over 4000 strikes of lightning...
Needless to say, Mary Morgan and I had to take cover in our downstairs bathroom!
That right there is documentation that two 22 yr old women were scared out of their britches. In our 5ftx3ft safe place, we quickly stocked it with water bottles, crackers, pillows, blankets and our Macbooks (of course)! We made sure to strap on our tennis shoes and rain jackets, just in case!
To God be the glory that our community did not experience the wrath of this storm... but we sure were two scared little chickens. Praying for everyone else affected today... Call us if we can help in any way!
